1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Altfarmg platform (including our website at altfarmg.site, mobile applications, and all related services), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services. Altfarmg reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on our website with notice. Your continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Service Description

Altfarmg provides an AI-powered dispatch platform that connects farmers with equipment owners and skilled laborers. Our platform uses machine learning to predict optimal task windows (planting, spraying, harvest) and automatically matches and dispatches the nearest available resources. Altfarmg is a facilitator and does not directly employ providers or guarantee the quality of on-ground service delivery. We facilitate transactions but are not a party to agreements between farmers and providers.

3. User Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use Altfarmg. By using our platform, you represent and warrant that:

• • You are at least 18 years old.
• • You have the legal authority to enter into this agreement.
• • You are not prohibited by law from using our services.
• • All information you provide is accurate and truthful.

4. User Accounts

To use certain features of Altfarmg, you may need to create an account. You agree to:

• • Provide accurate and current information during registration.
• • Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• • Be responsible for all activities under your account.
• • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
• • Not share your account with others or use another person's account.

Altfarmg reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Use of Platform – Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use Altfarmg for any unlawful purpose or in any way that violates applicable laws. Specifically, you will not:

• • Submit false, fraudulent, or misleading information.
• • Engage in harassment, discrimination, or abusive conduct toward other users.
• • Attempt to access or manipulate the platform's systems or data.
• • Reverse engineer, disassemble, or decompile our technology.
• • Post inappropriate, defamatory, or illegal content.
• • Attempt to circumvent our fees or commission structure.
• • Use the platform for human trafficking, forced labor, or exploitation.

6. Task Requests and Matching

Farmers: When you request a task via WhatsApp, USSD, or our platform, you authorize Altfarmg to share your location and task details with matched providers. You are responsible for negotiating terms directly with matched providers. Altfarmg does not guarantee task completion or the quality of service provided.

Providers: When you are matched with a task, you agree to respond promptly and honor confirmed commitments. Failure to complete accepted tasks may result in reduced reliability scores or account suspension.

7. Reliability Scores

Altfarmg calculates reliability scores based on task completion rates, timeliness, no-shows, and user feedback. Scores are publicly displayed and influence match prioritization. We strive for accuracy but do not guarantee the perfect representation of past behavior. Users can dispute scores by contacting support@altfarmg.site. Repeatedly low scores may result in reduced visibility or platform suspension.

8. Fees and Payment

Altfarmg charges a commission of 5–8% on completed tasks. Payment terms and methods will be clearly communicated during platform onboarding. By using our platform, you authorize Altfarmg to collect commissions from completed transactions. Fees are non-refundable unless a task is cancelled by Altfarmg due to system error.

9. Limitation of Liability

Altfarmg provides the platform “as-is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• • We do not guarantee platform availability or error-free operation.
• • We are not liable for delays, missed tasks, or poor service quality from providers.
• • We are not liable for disputes between users or for task-related injuries or damages.
• • Our total liability is limited to the fees paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
• • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Altfarmg, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or costs arising from: (a) your use of the platform; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of applicable laws; or (d) disputes between you and other users.

11. Dispute Resolution

Disputes between Altfarmg and users will be governed by the laws of Nigeria and administered in the courts of Lagos. For minor disputes, we encourage users to contact support@altfarmg.site first. Unresolved disputes may be escalated to mediation or arbitration as specified in formal dispute procedures available upon request.

12. Termination

Altfarmg may suspend or terminate your account at any time for: (a) violation of these Terms; (b) unlawful conduct; (c) repeated low reliability scores; or (d) non-payment of fees. Upon termination, you lose access to your account and historical data (subject to retention requirements). Outstanding fees remain payable.

13. Intellectual Property

All content on Altfarmg (including software, code, designs, text, and graphics) is owned by Altfarmg or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify this content without our express written permission.

14. Privacy and Data

Your use of Altfarmg is governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand our data practices. By using the platform, you consent to our collection and use of data as described in the Privacy Policy.

15. Independent Contractor Relationship

Equipment owners and laborers are independent contractors, not employees of Altfarmg. Altfarmg does not provide benefits, insurance, or employment protections. All service quality, safety, and labor law compliance is the responsibility of the individual provider and the farmer who engages them.

16. Disclaimer of Warranties

Altfarmg makes no warranties regarding: (a) the accuracy of our AI predictions; (b) the quality of matched providers; (c) task completion; (d) crop yield improvements; or (e) any other outcomes. We provide the platform as a best-effort matching service only.
